Archaeological Museum

One of the most important museums of its kind, the Archaeological Museum of Paros in Parikia is housed in comfortable, spacious rooms. Its collections include sculpture, pottery and other ancient artifacts from Paros and Antiparos, dating from the Neolithic to the Roman era. One of the most important exhibits of the museum is a part of the Parian Chronicle, a large marble plate with an inscription referring to events of Greek history and culture, written in 264 BC in the Attic dialect.
