The Cattedrale di Palermo is a stunningly beautiful church, part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites since 2015. A wonderful mixture of styles, it contains Norman, Moorish, Gothic and Baroque elements, as it took around 600 years to built, from 1185 well into the 18th century. The interiors, too, are worth checking out: the crypt, the floor meridian, and the sarcophagus of Frederick II are only some of the Cattedrale’s highlights.
