Quaint and charming, the small town of Mamoiada is a very typical Central Sardinian village, with cobblestone alleys, small cafes and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The local specialty is porceddu, so if you like pork make sure you give this Sardinian favorite a try! The town is also home to the Mark Museum, which can be toured with English speaking guides to learn more about the masks and traditions and rituals behind them.
