Polignano a Mare

Although Polignano a Mare has become rather touristy, don’t let this deter you, as it is still very impressive and worth a visit. Its famous beach within the cliffs is breathtaking, as is the shade of blue of the water below. The town, perched on top of the cliffs, offers amazing sea views, as well as narrow, picturesque alleys, beautiful piazzas and a great number of places to stop for a drink or a meal. Note that parking downtown is nearly impossible, but there is a large parking area right outside the center, with a nice path leading you downtown.
